Deep colour, heavy body wine with coulour and fruity bouquet brought with addition of petit verdot to the three grape varieties. The vines have an average age of 18 years, with a fermentation period between 21 and 30 days depending on the grape variety. 100% oak barrels, with 35% new barrels. The vines are grown in a clay-limestone and gravel soil with a limestone plateau.

This intense Cru Bourgeois wine, while possible to drink now, it should ideally be kept another 3-5 years.

Taste: Fruity bouquet with good Bordeaux tannic structure

Serve 17-18 °C, open 1 hour before dining. Lamb or Veal would be examples of food to go with this great Cru Bourgeois wine.
