The vines have an average age of 18 years, with a fermentation period between 21 and 30 days depending on the grape variety. 100% oak barrels, with 35% new barrels. The vines are grown in a clay-limestone and gravel soil with a limestone plateau.
This intense Cru Bourgeois wine, while possible to drink now, it should ideally be kept another 3-5 years.
Taste: Fruity bouquet with good Bordeaux tannic structure
Serve 17-18 °C, open 1 hour before dining. Lamb or Veal would be examples of food to go with this great Cru Bourgeois wine.
